The Correct Tactical Paintball Gear Will Hide You From Your Enemy

By Jaclyn Hurley

Paintball is a game for people of all skill levels, and there are some major elements that you really have to be adept at to succeed. Stealth, sight and sound are the three key elements you need to understand if you are going to have any hope of success. You can be sure that your enemy will be using them against you.

One of the main ways that you can improve your chances of survival at paintball is by selecting the correct tactical paintball gear. What you wear, and the weaponry you choose, can play a big part in keeping you safe. It is very difficult to get hit if you cannot be seen, or heard, by your enemy.

There are a few things that you have to take into consideration when you are choosing your protective clothing. The first thing to consider is the terrain that the game is going to take place in, that way you can make sure you select the correct camouflage clothing. It is now possible to get gear that will suit different types of terrains. You should also consider the material it is made from, find some that does not make a noise when you move. The same goes for the boots you pick.

After you have got the clothing that is fit for purpose, you are well on your way to being able to hide your movements. Not only will you be difficult to see against the background, your movement should also be difficult to pick up against the environmental sounds of the area. However, there is still more to do, if you choose the wrong weapon all of the above could have gone to waste.

The weapon must be comfortable, because you may need to carry it for a very long time. It should also be a color, and size, that is easy to conceal. An element of their weapon most people do not think about is the noise it makes when it fires. It is a good idea to test the weapon before making your selection. This is important because an experienced paintballer will know your location by the sound of your weapon.

If you have chosen your paintball equipment wisely, the sound you make whilst moving about should be minimal. This will allow you to get used to be natural sound of the area where the paintball competition is being played out. Once you are in tune with that, you will be able to spot any strange sounds, allowing you to identify the position of your enemy.

To succeed at paintball it is very important to be able to move about the terrain with stealth. It allows you to have the element of surprise over your opponent. However, you should not get overconfident as your opponent might have equipped themselves equally as well as you have done. You just have to hope that they haven't.

For an enjoyable, and successful, time at paintball, you should spend a lot of time selecting the correct tactical gear. This is critical, as it will help you stay hidden from your enemies, both visually and audibly. Combining the most suitable camouflaged and quiet clothing with the correct weapon, they will not know who is firing at them, and from where.
